Antonio Cabezas fue un famoso japanólogo onubense nacido en la Palma del Condado en 1931 y fallecido en la capital onubense en 2008. Fue Profesor Emérito de la Universidad de Estudios Extranjeros de Kioto y tuvo una trayectoria académica que ha sido ampliamente reconocida tanto en Japón como en España. Entre estos reconocimientos se encuentra la Orden del Sol Naciente otorgada por el Emperador del Japón a través de la Embajada en 2003.
Coincidiendo con el décimo aniversario de su fallecimiento, el Simposio Hispano-Japonés de Cultura y Educación 2018 que estamos organizando en la Universidad de Huelva estará dedicado a su memoria. Entre otras tareas, estamos recopilando vídeos cortos con testimonios para incluir en un vídeo tributo que será proyectado por primera vez en el evento. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea con éxito necesitamos su colaboración.

Antonio Cabezas, a famous japanologist from Huelva born in Palma del Condado in 1931 and died in the city of Huelva in 2008. He was Professor Emeritus at the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in and he had an academic career that has been widely recognized both in Japan and in Spain. Among these recognitions is the Order of the Rising Sun granted by the Emperor of Japan through the Embassy in 2003.
Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of his death, the Hispanic-Japanese Symposium on Culture and Education 2018 that we are organizing at the University of Huelva will be dedicated to his memory. Among other tasks, we are compiling short videos with testimonials to include in a video tribute that will be projected for the first time in this event. In order to carry out this task successfully we need your collaboration.
